Why do You Want to Spend Money in Property Investing?

The first thing you will need is to get motivated. Unless you get motivated, unless you know WHY, You don’t put the time and money effort to succeed. First you need to find the reason  WHY.  WHY would you want to change your present situation and do something extra, like investing.

It’s not your fault, because we all are daily bombarded by negative news from various media, which influences our way of thinking. The bad news sells. So, if we want to get ahead in life we need to detach ourselves from these negatives and focus on our goals in life.

You need to make a list of goals, the reasons you would like to achieve by investing. For example:

  • Private school for your children
  • Wedding for your daughter
  • Retired income
  • Holiday home
  • Periodic travel
  • Have your own business
  • Earn extra income
  • More spare time
  • Help others
  • Leave Legacy
  • Be financially independent

You may not be any of these or you may have several goals.

Once you make and find the reason why, you need to start investing in yourself first. You need to work on your personal development. There is no such thing as a free ride or something for nothing. So, unless you are prepared for this, forget the whole thing and continue in your present  stage. You will probably need to adjust your way of thinking as well. Many people play a victim:

– They blame others
– They find excuses
– They are in denial
